here's the problems i see with your method. it is impossible to sterilize a needle by boiling it. you are sanitizing it, but that doesn't necessarily kill everything. there's a reason professionals use an autoclave, that is the only way to sterilize it. secondly, why are you using a safety pin? you can buy pre-sterilized needles online that come to you packaged so that you know no one has tainted it. just get a needle made for piercing next time.
