Monologue for acting cl?

I feel sorry for you that you have such an ignorant teacher. If you are supposed to know the character and the "backstory," a word and concept I abhor, why doesn't the teacher give it to you. I know, he or she thinks they are teaching "creativity" and in a sense they are. It is a creative writing ignment, not an acting ignment. No matter how the teacher tries to justify this ignment, it is of no practical value to an actor. It is only part of the swindle that "teachers" foist upon students in the name of acting. You see, educational cles, those taught in academic schools like hs and college have to have academic ignments in them, like writing. Writing has nothing to do with acting, but it is how "teachers" justify teaching acting in an academic setting. What a rip off! Do your best making up the stuff for your assignment and don't bother telling your teacher that I think he or she is cheating you instead of teaching you something about acting.
