Self employed/babysit?

i babysit 1 child for 5 months and another off and on for 5 months for a total of 1000. didnt pay any taxes either. would i be able to rite off food as a expense and some of my water and electric bill or anything else cause my home is where i do my business, this is my first year of doing so and im filing jointly with my spouse with 2 dependants also. i also have receipts for the child i watch fulltime.
