How illegal is it to grow a few marijuana plants for personal use in MA?

Okay, if you're gonna come down on me for smoking marijuana, then don't even bother replying. I smoke weed. It's decriminalized here. Whatever, that's my business, not yours. But from a purely legal standpoint, if I was to grow 2-4 plants just for personal use, and I was caught, what would the sentencing or legal ramifications look like?
