Can I use a racing snowmobile for trails?

I found a snowmobile that I really like. However the guy made it a race ready sled. He only raced it twice, but it has a clutch kit, racing heads and a hot shot on. I was wondering if this would be ok for some trail riding... I do a lot of gunin and runin but i like the trails to... also do the mods that he put in hurt the engine or make it more likely to break down? it is a 2004 arctic cat 440 sno pro if that helps. thanks
